Attend a Free Party
Each Free Party Project is a place where you can collaborate with other urban activists and do your bit to change the consciousness of society at large. You are the Shamans, the people who choose to Free themselves from the matrix to learn something and to return to the matrix to teach that new information to the masses.
The heart of each event is you and how you chose to interpret, add to and experience that event. Your experience can be as personal or public as you choose, as internal or external as you prefer. The Free Party Project is your platform to express yourself.
There are 3 very simple core principles that underpin attending a Free Party Project. These are non-negotiable and form the only rules in an otherwise border-less community.
1. TURN UP – Because without you there is no event. Turn up at the arranged time and place and bring a positive attitude. There is a reason for each event, a positive focus for that particular Project. Your only responsibility as an attendee is to hold that focus in your mind as you enjoy yourself and allow the power of positive collective thinking to do the rest. Look around at the other people attending and remember that they are there for the same reason. You have all made the effort to come to this place at this time to have fun and to make a positive impact.
2. TUNE IN – Because without you there is no sound. The organiser will be broadcasting the music at a radio frequency for the event. Make sure that you and all your friends have a means to tune in and play that sound. Whether you want to go inside yourself and wear headphones or share it with to the world with a big portable system or car hifi, it’s up to you to have the means to play the sound. Make sure your power lasts as long as your legs. Think Solar for daytime and batteries for night.
3. BE FREE – Because it’s time you realise that money is nothing. The only real currency in the world is the time and energy we all swap for money. Get rid of the middle man and trade in the source. Leave your wallet at home because there will be nothing to buy and no one to sell to. Bring more than you need of whatever you want and trade it with other people. You will realise very quickly that without money in the way and with a spirit of giving, you will have more than you need of a really cool variety of things. Be free in your thinking and acting and respect the freedom of those around you. Bring cool things to the event. Bring stuff to make noise and stuff to make light, stuff to wear and stuff to share, stuff to eat and drink.
And when the Project is over…
leave only your energy in the air…
leave the venue as you found it and the world just a little bit better than before…
